It was made in USA and is spoken in English. It is a movie for all ages, packed with adventure, and action. It never goes off the path of it’s storyline which makes it a very good movie to watch.

The main characters of this story was Hiccup, a young and rather small Viking, Stoick the Vast, the leader of their viking settlement, who is also Hiccup’s dad, voiced by Gerard Butler, and Astrid, Hiccup’s crush, who is pretty much everything Hiccup isn’t. Although his dad is the biggest Viking, Hiccup is the smallest.

Hiccup, a small Viking who works as a Blacksmith’s Assistant want’s to be a Dragon Killer like the rest of his Village, but when he takes down a Night Fury with an invention of his, he doesn’t have the heart to kill it. Although Hiccup has claimed to “Hit a Night Fury” with his invention before, no one believes him. How to Train Your Dragon has plenty of action scenes, such as when the Dragons invade their small viking town.

The moral of the story is instead of being violent, to be kind and caring. I believe this is the moral because although he wants desperately to become a Dragon Killer like his Father, He has better virtues and he physically can’t harm one. This is a very good moral, because it’s a movie for all ages and children and adults will learn from it.

This movie was put together very well. The animation is perfect, clear picture and crisp sound, and a very interesting storyline that will take you from Hiccup’s village to the Dragon’s Nest. I would highly suggest watching this high-flying adventure if you haven’t done so already.

Reviewed by Cody Christianson.
