It was a suspenseful drama with a change around every corner. What started off as a young man working for him and his ill friend, turned into a mans desperation to get out of his tragic situation after his ill friend passes away. My eyes were glued to the screen the whole movie. I loved how the dramatic music played during some scenes helped me really feel the tension and suspense for the movie.

Nicolas Provost shot Amadou (Issaka Sawadogo) in various places with little lighting and lurking around as if he was some kind of criminal but also shot hot charm as way with the opposite sex that they just couldn’t control. The director also shot alot of the poor neighborhoods instead of showing nice area I feel to really display how it was for a immigrant to live in another country.

The film starts off on a nude beach, when two unexpected immigrants one by the name of Amadou washes up on shore baring his ill friend in his arms. The story jumps to Amadou working construction for a company who also houses him and his ill friend. When his dear friend came up missing Amadou went crazy. He sweet talked his way into the life of beautiful Agnes who is played by Stefania Rocca.

The film was a great piece of work for a foreign film it was smooth, kept me entertained, and easy to follow the list could go on. This is definitely a must see cinema if there is a film festival near you,or theaters world wide.

Reviewed by Asante Rose Lewis.
