Samsara directed by Ron Fricke is a non verbal documentary of the ever turning wheel of life. The entire film was shot with a 70 mm camera. Samsara in Tibetan means continuous flow and this film tries to capture the cycle of life. \u00a0Samsara is hard to explain without seeing it because everyone has their own interpretation. For me Samsara was trying to show how our society is becoming like machines and are forgetting the beautiful world we live in. The acrostic below describes my reaction to the film and some pictures from the film so you can glimpse of what I am talking about.<\/p>\n<p>S &#8211; Spectacular shots are in this film I would have never seen.<\/p>\n<p>A- Amazing scenery is seen.<\/p>\n<p>M- Marvelous monuments are shown.<\/p>\n<p>S- Stunning and compelling messages.<\/p>\n<p>A- Astonishing images of large groups of people<\/p>\n<p>R- Ridiculous society we live in.<\/p>\n<p>A- Aerial shots of so many places beautiful places.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/FA169561-B0F9-4C74-8A41-555C5CA9C7B5\/tn.jpg\" alt=\"tn.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The wheel of life drawn by the monks with colorful sand, starts the movie.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/C63C6561-ACE7-403F-A15B-DDA91B3E4279\/03.jpg\" alt=\"03.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>No matter what we look like we are all the same.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/2F034497-5ABD-424B-9633-670E3917EDAE\/05.jpg\" alt=\"05.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Chinese practicing Karate, part of the film that emphasizes on war.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/C5683FF3-5B57-46C8-B277-AEF581E785B7\/JapanTokyoDollFactory.png\" alt=\"JapanTokyoDollFactory.png\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Samsara (Ron Fricke, 2011) USA Reviewed by , Santa Barbara Film Festival I have never seen a film that is has such a powerful message and not even one word of dialogue is spoken.
