The film called Racketeer is a message to all those involved in crime<\/p>\n

To stop their ways before they cross the line.<\/p>\n

The story of Sayan is a cold one<\/p>\n

Never in his life besides as a kid did it look fun<\/p>\n

Growing up as a talented young boxer in Kazakhstan<\/p>\n

He soon entered the streets and ran<\/p>\n

From all he knew and all he dreamed to be<\/p>\n

To work with a gang and never be free.<\/p>\n

The loss of his brother in this risky game<\/p>\n

Made him think about the one to blame<\/p>\n

But there really is no feeling<\/p>\n

No conscience, no being<\/p>\n

Because in the end<\/p>\n

He can\u2019t pretend<\/p>\n

And the only game he knows is the only game he will ever know.<\/p>\n

The film was cold<\/p>\n

Just like the way Sayan narrates his life<\/p>\n

Everything was straightforward<\/p>\n

As if without feeling<\/p>\n

At the Q & A<\/p>\n

Their message was clear<\/p>\n

To all those involved in crime<\/p>\n

Stop<\/p>\n

Or the end will be near.<\/p>\n

After the haunting last shot<\/p>\n

And the chilling voice over on top of it<\/p>\n

There was nothing.<\/p>\n

It was explained that this was the way it would end<\/p>\n

To not over romanticize the story<\/p>\n

Nothing was heartfelt from the character\u2019s point of view<\/p>\n

But the editing was fast<\/p>\n

There were pauses when characters were introduced<\/p>\n

With lighting bolt music<\/p>\n

And the multiple scenes of characters<\/p>\n

Involving crime<\/p>\n

Against a white background<\/p>\n

As if in a dream<\/p>\n

Or a nightmare<\/p>\n

Straightforward and haunting<\/p>\n

Racketeer is a film with a message and a story.<\/p>\n
