Viewed at Santa Barbara International Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/filmphage.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/07\/monsters-university-mike.jpg\" width=\"576\" height=\"323\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>M<\/strong>ike Wazowski is starting at Monster&#8217;s University to become the best scarer ever.<\/p>\n<p><strong>O<\/strong>nce he gets there he is well prepared and has already practiced a lot.<\/p>\n<p><strong>N<\/strong>ew students have to take a tour around the school, everyone is very excited. Mike is very amazed by everything he sees.<\/p>\n<p><strong>S<\/strong>ome of them get nervous but Mike knows that this is what he wants to do, it has always been his dream.<\/p>\n<p><strong>T<\/strong>here will be some challenges along the way that they will have to face and do something about.<\/p>\n<p><strong>E<\/strong>ven some of the students will be a challenge to deal with, some are more stubborn than others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>R<\/strong>isky behavior will lead to trouble, as usual. At a school like this no one wants to get in trouble, not even the big James Sullivan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>S<\/strong>oon they both are competing with each other about who will be the best scarer of Monster&#8217;s University.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>U<\/strong>nder the film there was a lot of music in the background, I imagine it is more fun for children to watch films that way.<\/p>\n<p><strong>N<\/strong>ot a lot of close-ups, I thought there was very many long-shots in the film though.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I<\/strong>n the film they used very strong and bright colors for children to be more interested.<\/p>\n<p><strong>V<\/strong>arious of stereotypes were in the film like the jocks, nerds and the cool girls.<\/p>\n<p><strong>E<\/strong>ven soft-focus was used a lot when they really wanted to highlight something or someone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>R<\/strong>andy is my least favorite character in the film because he is so sneaky.<\/p>\n<p><strong>S<\/strong>ometimes I laughed out loud during the film, I still enjoy watching children films even now when I am older.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I<\/strong>\u00a0really liked this film, not as much as Monster&#8217;s Inc. though which is one of my favorite children films.<\/p>\n<p><strong>T<\/strong>aking away all the stereotypes would be a positive thing in the future even though everyone knows they exist.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Y<\/strong>ou should absolutely waste your time to watch this film.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reviewed by Moa Hellenaes.
