I’m not saying that it’s bad, because it’s just the opposite, but I was surprised over and over again for what was happening on the screen. One moment I was all crawled up in my chair because I was that scared, and the next moment I was asking myself “What just happened?”. I never knew what would happen next and I was very confused from time to time, but that was what made the movie interesting. I also didn’t know anything about the movie before I watched it which I am happy about because I didn’t have any expectations at all.

By just looking at the cover (as you can see on the picture above) you might think that this is just another regular science fiction movie. But it is not just science fiction, it is also mixed with thriller and a story where we get to see a strong relationship between three friends and their hope to get everything back to normal again after waking up in a facility far away from their homes.

The movie starts out with the three friends who are seeking a computer hacker who has hacked their computers for quite a while. The movie seems to be like any other regular drama movie in the beginning, until the first major turnover when it gets super scary and I found myself wondering if was a horror movie that I was watching. There were several turns and I never knew what to expect for the next scene. I could not get bored while watching this movie because something was happening all the time but at the same time, it was not a hectic movie. The scenes were shown with enough time to get the feelings from them but not too long so that it got boring. The pace could go from super fast to super slow which were great effects to give the audience stronger feelings of what was going on.

One thing I really liked about the movie was how perfect the mise-en-scene was. The facility, where the kids woke up, was light, white, clean and very hospital-like. Scenes outside were beautiful with mountains and sunlight.

This is a movie I recommend other people to watch because it really has something… I just can’t put my finger on it! It just has a little bit of everything: drama, thriller, sci-fi and love. Watch it and get blown away by every scene in it!

Reviewed by Mimmi Karlsson.
