Viewed at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, 2018.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone \" style=\"margin: 0px 10px 0px 0px;float: left\" src=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/image.tmdb.org\/t\/p\/w780\/msj2VmaHEvJ0cKLZkdMLE6AO5dc.jpg\" width=\"325\" height=\"183\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The Genesis of Holy Camp<\/p>\n<p>Before Director, there was darkness in the Holy Camp.<br \/>\nBut Director was soon to begin his creation<br \/>\nFor he saw the sound within all that remained.<\/p>\n<p>In the beginning, Director created Holy Camp<br \/>\nA catholic girls camp deep in the forest.<br \/>\nA camp with two rebels-Maria and Susana<br \/>\nWho raged and partied in secrecy.<\/p>\n<p>Then Director commanded, &#8220;Let there be Whitney Houston&#8221;.<br \/>\nWhitney was not Whitney. But Director believed.<br \/>\nDirector was pleased with what he heard.<br \/>\nEvening passed and that was the act 1.<\/p>\n<p>Maria was excited over Whitney&#8217;s tunes.<br \/>\nMaria decided it best to pray-head down, back straight, posture up.<br \/>\nThen Director commanded, &#8220;Let laughs ring at the thought of Maria&#8217;s prayers&#8221;.<br \/>\nDirector was pleased with what he saw.<br \/>\nEvening passed and that was act 2.<\/p>\n<p>Once mad at Maria, Susana believed and let taboo fall.<br \/>\nThen the Director commanded, &#8220;Let Susana enjoy the most of taboo&#8221;.<br \/>\nA kiss sealed with lust filled Holy Camp.<br \/>\nDirector was pleased with what he saw.<br \/>\nEvening passed and that was act 3<\/p>\n<p>Then Director Commanded. &#8220;Wear silver crop tops and butt shorts&#8221;,<br \/>\nMaria and Susana danced their butts off.<br \/>\nWhitney was impressed-for the dance sparked the holy ghost within.<br \/>\nDirector was pleased with what he saw.<br \/>\nEvening passed and that was the act 4.<\/p>\n<p>For the Director had created it all<br \/>\nA Holy Camp genuinely bizarre, taboo, and holy at all the same time.<br \/>\nFor this creation, Director was pleased and so were his subjects (viewers).<br \/>\nDirector rested on the final day for he knew it was good.<\/p>\n<p>____<\/p>\n<p>Hilarious, crazy, wacky, laugh out loud fun-not words that would usually describe a catholic girls camp. But this film did that and more-a definite must see. Do not bring a serious tone to this film as it is focused on fun, music, and a different perspective on God and religion.
