1. Nick Hincapie 02.13.11 / 3pm

   I thought this was a great film as well. In a year filled with bad sequels and remakes it was good to see a Blockbuster that was smart and original. Hopefully studios will learn from this film and start to make smart films.

   I can’t agree more with you on what a wonderful movie Inception is. It’s one of those movies you could watch one hundred times and still make new observations and learn more each time. The depth of Christopher Nolan’s mind and imagination to write such a screenplay is truly amazing. He mentioned at his tribute award that it took about 8 years to write Inception. I felt the casting was well done too. As well-known as Leo is, his celebrity did not affect his role in any way. Having such a big name lead may have encouraged a wider audience to view this movie that an unknown actor would have drawn. I can’t wait for Nolan’s next creation.

   Inception is one of the greatest mind trick movie ever. This movie has a unbelievable story line, it is both creative and unique. This is a must see movie because of all of the animation technology, great actors, and amazing writers. The main charactor leo played a amazing role. This role was very different than any other film he has been in, and he played the part great. This is a real amazing type of movie and I cannot wait for the films in the future.

   I think this film was brilliant. It was fresh and something new, which is hard to find these days. The characters are unique and the plot is genius. They definitely casted this film right and made the story line easy to follow. I agree when they say “everyone will have their own interpretation of the film and is eager to hear what people come up with”. The ending was a cliff hanger which left you thinking even more about what reality really is.
5. Charles Starr 02.15.11 / 12am

   Leonardo DiCaprio is an ideal cast for two reasons: he has a huge fan base, and he is a tremendous actor. For once, casting an A-list celebrity really helped, not hindered, a film. Christopher Nolan’s plot was spellbinding and whether DiCaprio was in it or not, I am confidant the film would have been a success. However, it would be foolish to over look how casting him affected the film at the box office.
6. Jim Burns 02.15.11 / 9pm

   I really don’t understand how this movie was overlooked by the Academy. I thought it was the most original story both visually and conceptually. This movie required intense focus throughout but was an extremely entertaining film to watch. I thought Leonardo Di Caprio did an excellent job and when I left this film I automatically assumed Christopher Nolan would win Best Director hands down. I don’t understand how he wasn’t even nominated.
7. Kevin Cammiso 02.18.11 / 7pm

   Writer/director Christopher Nolan’s latest Inception was one of my favorite movies of the past decade; such a fresh, psychologically thrilling plot line coupled with a smart and well-researched screenplay makes for an altogether gripping film. With a portfolio of hits, Nolan still finds a way to wow audiences. Although Inception’s plot develops linearly, the complex, multilayered web of dreams are reminiscent of Nolan’s other nonlinear films, such as Memento and Following. I think with this movie Nolan proves he has the ability to write in a multitude of styles, ranging from mainstream, blockbuster hits like The Dark Night to rich and intellectually stimulating films such as Inception.

   Inception is a film that I have watched multiple times and each time I have gained a better understanding of this film. It is incredibly complex filled with peculiar details, which is what makes this film so intriguing and this is why I enjoy watching every part of this film. Christopher Nolan is a great director and the cast was phenomenal. This was a film that required you to pay attention throughout the entire film because every aspect of the movie was relevant to another part of the film and was of major importance to the rest of the film. Even though it was hard to follow some of the time, in the end, it had a mind-boggling message and it really made me think. Inception is without a doubt an exceptional film.
9. David Carrillo 03.15.24 / 11am

   Inception is a film that has confused me more than any other film I have seen. It took me so many screenings of the film to finally understand the film. Christopher Nolan did such an amazing job with this film, it seemed like he put everything he had into this film. You really have to pay attention to this film, it is not like any other film where you can skip scenes and still know the whole film. This film is different in that where you have to pay attention to every detail that is thrown at you because the start of the film is super confusing.
