   Very interesting review. I liked this film as well but I do think that it could have been a lot better than it was. While I did enjoy the movie overall it cannot compare with any of the Disney classic films like “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Lion King”. I’m also starting to miss the animated films that were hand drawn. From what it looks like Disney won’t be doing any more hand drawn animated films but lets all hope that changes.

   Personally, I was remarkably impressed by Tangled. I’ve been a Disney devotee for all of my life. In recent years, movies like “The Princess and the Frog” have been extremely disappointing. “The Princess and the Frog” had some of the novelty that you mentioned wanting (not an unhappy ending, but the first black princess. Fairly groundbreaking). Additionally, it boasted about having the classic animation from gems like “The Little Mermaid” or “Aladdin”. However, even with these benefits I cannot even try to compare “Princess and the Frog” with “Tangled”. Whether it was through the wonderful music of Alan Menken (a strength of so many Disney classics), or through the combination of Disney’s old sense of humor from movies like “Beauty and the Beast” and the newer comedy styles used in Disney’s Pixar films, “Tangled” is the closest they’ve come since 1998 or 1999 to recapturing Disney’s original animated films. It’s a beautiful film that grows better with each viewing. I can only hope that we have more releases like this from Disney over the next few years.

   I also agree that this movie was a well put together animated film and the storyline followed in the foot steps of Disney movies of the past. The storyline reeled you in and kept you hooked on the need for adventure that Rapunzel expressed. Her passion to leave her tower and get to those thousands of lights really tugged at my heart strings and became even more evident as she fell for Flynn. Her faith in the good in people and her ability to block out all the negativity that the world possess is refreshing. And though the ending of the film was evident from the beginning, a happy ending is always a nice end in a world that is so unpredictable. I truly enjoyed this film and the flash of my childhood innocence that it gave me. However I would also agree that this film can’t compare to the brilliant and classics produced by Disney.

   I don’t think this movie could have been any better than it was. I absolutely loved it. Without the happy ending, it wouldn’t have qualified as a true Disney fairytale. We are no longer in the era of Snow White and Cinderella, so animated films like Tangled are a breath of fresh air, especially since I grew up watching those Disney movies, dreaming of becoming a princess like them. It is the closest film to the classics that I’ve seen in a long time, and left me feeling happy and magical as I left the theater. I thought the voice of Mandy Moore fit perfectly for that of a young princess, and the songs were enchanting too. What can I say, I love Disney.

   This review does not even come close to touching the wonderful, rich fantasy land that Rapunzel lives in. The original story of Rapunzel does not explain why Rapunzel is trapped in her mother’s tower. It doesn’t explain who she is or how she got there. Just the story in itself entrances and excites its audience in wanting to be in a world where such magic is possible. Furthermore, the movie did not end in a “Happy Ending.” The movie ended in a wonderfully beautiful ending. I, as an adult male, cried at the end because I was so relieved that Eugene was still alive and able to bring Rapunzel back to her rightful parents. The film was magnificent and deserves all the praise it has received thus far.

   So when I saw this movie I hadn’t seen any trailer or read any plot. I had just heard how great it was, unfortunately the plot dissapointed me a bit, not that it was bad, just that I had other expectations. But again, that’s because I hadn’t read the plot so I can’t blame the movie for that. Moving on, I didn’t really like your review, the plot description is quite confusing, even with the images it hard to really understand. I mean, the image of Rapunzel is when she’s grown up, I don’t think everyone would understand that she’s the lost princess, even if it’s quite obvious. And I also think that you’re losing alot of, instead of describing so much about the plot you should describe a small part but with more details. I also belive that the review would had been more interesting if you would have had more information about the movie in itself, like the animations, the characters etc. And one last thing, a good thing to do is to start with an opinion about the movie, instead of just going right into the plot, because then it’s easier to see weather it’s a movie worthy to read about or not. But that’s just how I feel, I’m not trying to be mean.

   I agree that the film Tangled was a well put together film that fit in with the Disney Movie Classics that we watched growing up. It has been years since I have enjoyed watching a Disney Film that I actually liked, last one I watched was Beauty and the Beast. I found Mandy Moore’s voice to be perfect for Rapunzel, her performance was excellent and made the film an enjoyable experience. In addition, I as well would disagree that if the film did not have a happy ending it would not be a Disney Movie Classic because who wants to watch a movie in which their is no happy ending? I know I don’t. Overall, Great Review.

   I really liked Tangled and really thought it could be considered a Disney classic. I liked it because it was the first Disney film to my knowledge that used computer graphic animation rather than the classical style. The movie definitely needed the happy ending because all Disney movies must have a happy ending due to the fact a younger viewer would never enjoy a sorrowful ending. This movie was a very good interpretation of the story Repunzel and they made it there own Disney style since the original story is very dark. I think i also am very partial to this movie because i was raised on disney movies and have never seen one I havn’t enjoyed.

   I absolutely adore this movie. It depicts a young girl fighting for her independence. She appears to be the perfect girlfriend or wife. She can cook, clean, sing, knit, dance and many more outstanding accomplishments. She is truly a role model for young girls. I like that the dialogue in this film is witty and fun. She is a confident girl that knows how to handle herself, which has come a long way from the Disney movies that always depicted damsels in distress. I think the happy ending is one hundred percent necessary. Without it, it just wouldn’t be a Disney Movie.

    I thought Tangled was an excellent addition to the Disney collection. I thought the scenery, the tower and the paper lantern scene at the end was done great via animation. It was funny to watch Disney films as an adult, one reason is I constantly hear my mom complaining about getting old and grey which is the motivation behind the wicked witch, and that is something that would have gone over my head as a kid. The super drunk guy at the bar, to a kid would just seem weird and funny. Over all this movie kept me entertained, brought tears to my eyes at the end, and was heartwarming. I really liked it!

    When I went to go see Tangled with my best friend and her little sister, I thought that this was going to be one of those little kid boring movies. Truthfully I didn’t want to go see it but I knew my friend’s sister really wanted to see it so we took her. But I got to omit that the movie was actually funny and romantic and a bit on the cheesy side but Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi did a great job as Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. I believe that anyone can watch this movie because it’s a type of movie that everyone will love no matter how old you are.

    When going to watch Tangled I was somewhat weary after going and seeing The Princess and the Frog. However, after this movie I was thrilled. I thought, “Disney is back!” this movie had action, drama, romance, and it was a musical. It had great music. Mandy Moore who played Rapunzel did a stupendous job. This movie follows the storyline where the princess is being held captive and in need of rescue from her “knight in shining armor.” This is typical for Disney given it is the 10th princess story Disney has offered to the public. This movie was perfectly made and restored the joy that I once had when I was a kid growing up watching movies like Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast.

    This is a good review for the movie Tangled and gives a great explanation of the film. I have seen this film and have to say this one of the best movies Disney has produced in the past few years. I think the movie quality along with the characters make up a great family and children film. I would watch this movie again and recommend it to others.

    I really like Tangled. I have seen other newer Disney films and this one by far is the best to recently come out. It has great animation, great storyline and of course great singing done by Mandy Moore. I love classic movies like Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast where they have great singing, animation and a fairy tale ending. This film is one that is comparable to those films. I think that they chose great actors for the character that adults can easily figure out who they were. I like how they choose Mandy Moore who is an actor and a singer for the role of Rapunzel. Overall it is a great film for the whole family. Adults who have grown watching classic Disney films will love it and for children who will remember who will one day add this film to their classic Disney film list.

    This movie is fun movie that leaves its viewers with a happy satisfaction. The colors and animation were well done and the voices were well suited for the film. Of course as in every Disney movie there are the typical prototypes such as, the villain, the unusual best friend (often an animal), and the “knight in shinning armor.” In addition the main character fills the role of the female character who at surface seems passive and naive. However she goes through a series of events which help her become a strong individual that stands up for herself and defeats her enemy.

    This movie has good messages for children and adults. The first is the importance of dreaming and the second is to not give up on one’s aspirations. “Tangled” encourages its viewers that no matter what is prevents someone from reaching their dreams, if they persevere they can achieve most anything.

    I went to watch Tangled at the movie theaters with my sister on a spur-of-the-moment decision. I didn’t know much about it before going in so I didn’t expect much, but I came out of it in love! It was a genuine Disney movie. I have to disagree with the reviewer in this case. I loved the ending! I am glad it was a happy ending because it IS Disney. The animation and graphics were amazing. I watched it probably over ten times with my nieces when it came out on Netflix. My favorite scene was, of course, the scene with Rapunzel and Flynn on the boat singing “I See the Light” as the floating lanterns surrounded them. It was absolutely magical. Mandy Moore’s voice is perfect as Rapunzel because it is so sweet.

    Love this movie! Even though it is generally oriented for kids, it had some adult humor as well. Based off the story, Repunzle, Disney’s “Tangled” brings back the legend into a new witty story. Repunzle has a magical gift to heal anything back to life, or to make one stay young forever. An old evil witch knows of her powers and steals Repunzle, after years of her being stuck in a tower a sarcastic, greedy boy comes and finds her. this is a romantic movie filled with humor and a great background story. Many Moore is repunzles voice and it really suites her. The colors and animation were very vivid and clear. The music was fun for a Disney Movie, very cute and fun.

    This is definitely one of my favorite movies. The animation was good, and the songs made you want to join in! There were flaws as there always are in cartoons, but one shouldn’t really be watching a cartoon and looking for logic and reality. I think Flynn a character easily identifiable with. He seems like a real person in such an insane set of circumstances. Just because he is a thief does not make him a bad person, he was shoved into it since he was an orphan. He is much like Aladdin, a ruffian who is on the run from the law and generally disliked by the “proper” society and higher-ups, but deep down has a heart of gold and will do whatever he can to help those in need.

    I personally am in love with this Disney animated film, I took my baby brother to see it with me, he was mesmerized by the intense use of color and animation in the film. Tangled definitely followed the usual Disney stereotype; including music, adventure, love, fun, laughter, and good vs. evil. Ever since I was a little girl I loved the short story of Rapunzel, I think Disney did an awesome job with the storyline. It was enjoyable to watch and the little iguana Pascal was one of my top favorite characters. It was a good idea to add him in the story. I don’t think that Disney should change anything about the story. The ending was perfect, classic fairytale.

    I loved this film! Great animation, great sound quality and great sense of humor. The filmmaker did a great job of bringing the characters to life through the composition of their personalities and using defining traits to identify them. The music was upbeat and energetic, which gave the film an overall feel-good vibe. There was adventure to keep the viewers interested, and witty comments to keep the viewers laughing. Overall, this was a very well developed, successful, and enjoyable film.

    I agree with you, Cody, that Tangled is a really good animated film. This film does grab the attention of the viewer and keeps it. What I like most of this film is that it is for all ages. Little kids can enjoy this film and adults too. However, I would have to disagree with you, Cody, about happy endings. Happy endings for me are very important. It is important for kids to have happy endings. I do not think that kids need to know of some of the horror and unhappy endings that sometimes come into life as adults. I believe that kids need to enjoy their lives innocent and happy.

    First of all this is my favorite new Disney Princess film. The review was short and sweet, but I feel as though it is missing a lot of affection and details. The film introduces children to think beyond what their parents tell them, to wonder the world on their own and to go where their hearts desire. Along this journey you will discover things about yourself that you would never have otherwise. Rapunzel stays true to herself and learns that she is a strong and confident woman who does not need her “mother” to live. She falls in love with an unexpected person and she learns that not everything is as it seems. The ruffians in the ugly duckling bar are actually caring men who are misunderstood. Dont judge a book by its cover.

    Great review! You really captured the essence of this movie through your summary. The way you worded it sounds like it came out of storybook. Have you considered becoming a narrator?
    I’m only starting to love this movie more and more. It grows on you. It’s a fun movie with a charismatic character, Rapunzel. The humor reminds me of The Emperor’s New Groove. I actually like the happy ending and think it fits the story well, like a perfect happy fairy-tale ending to a perfect fairy-tale. However, Pocahontas has a more bittersweet ending and maybe you like that too.
    Tangled is a very well-written movie. There’s symbolism like how Rapunzel is the sun, hence her blonde hair, that brought back hope and warmth and light back to her kingdom. My favorite song and scene is Kingdom Dance. Also the lantern scene was stunning.
    The marketing for this movie really doesn’t do it justice.
