Jiro Dreams of Sushi (David Gell 2011): USA

This film is to honor, praise, and bring awareness to a world-renowned sushi chef in Japan named Jiro. There is little I can do to praise this film: its beauty speaks fathoms beyond what my words can say. To bring to light a few points, this movie is much more than a documentary. It is a story about trust, respect, hard work, family, and honesty in the work one does. I am beyond words after viewing this film. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Jiro has a team of people who work with him. Each one iseither going through or has completed a 10-year apprentice process to work at Jiro’s restaurant.

Jiro’s restaurant only serves suhsi, nothing else!

They only serve the best fish picked by the best experts, carefully and very expertly prepared.

Three things that can  never be seperated: Jiro, sushi, and hard work.

And for good reason too!
