this move was bad. kasdan is a great directer? u wouldnt think from this garbage.

this movie is about a woman who saves a dog that the husband doesnt want, but has to keep. the daughter falls in love right away and gets married to the vet and on their wedding they have a huge party and after the party the husband loses the dog and the wife likes the dog more than the husband so shes pretty mad. a lot of people come to help. even a crazy lady. they all help to look and at the same time the husband and wife who arent really so much in love anymore are trying to make things better even though its hard for them

it reminds me of a lifetime movie. or abc family movie with more cursing. this should only be on tv if tv would even accept it.

the movie isnt funny. some jokes maybe could be funny if they were in a better movie. the only part i laughed at was when they were driving in the mountains and they hit a speed bump and it made me think they ran over the dog.

the acting made me queasy. even from opening shot. i think dianne wiest was the only ok person acting. maybe diane keaton. but she disapoints. how many dianes does there have to be anyways?

i felt like i was on fast forward. everything happened really fast and editing was embarassing. i guess everyone is a doctor and gets married right away and goes to amazing honeymoons and loves being married. and then everyone fall out of love. and then they work on it to get better.

the dog was cute. could have been better.

Darling Companion was worse than this review, if that is even possible.
