The Womens Panel ( Allison Abbate, Lucy Alibar, Marisa Paiva, Katherine Sarafian, Pilar Savone 2013) USA

The women’s panel, there were five different people. Allison Abbate (the picture) is a producer that had produced the animation movie Frankenweenie. Allison is a successful animation film producer and winner of BAFTA (British Academy Of Film And Television Art). Personality I like the movie “Space Jam 1996” most, and in this movie Allison was the animation producer.

Lucy Alibar is a writer that wrote the “Beasts of the Southern Wild” that was released in January 2012 at Sundance. Beasts of the Southern Wild is Faced with both her hot-tempered father’s fading health and melting ice-caps that flood her ramshackle bayou community and unleash ancient aurochs, six-year-old Hushpuppy must learn the ways of courage and love.

Marisa Paiva is the writer of Life of Pi that was released in Sweden on the 21st of December 2012 . Life of Pi is about a young man who survives a disaster at sea is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery.

Katherine Sarafian produced the movies Brave, Super Heroes, Toy Story and Monsters Inc. They’ve been successful all around the world. Katherine is a very successful woman that has produced a lot of good animations for Disney. Katherine started to study film and art in college and loved it, she always wanted to be in the film business. she produced her first major feature in 1995 and it was the movie “Toy story”.

Pilar Savone is the producer of the movie Django Unchained that came out on December 25th 2012.  Pilar started in the film business directly after college, but at one point she started to feel that she needed one year off, but then she meet Quentin Tarantino and he wanted her to start working for him. She started to work for Quentin and have not regretted a second. Pilar said that they were like brother and sister, husband and wife ” Without doing the nasty”.
