UWantMe2KillHim? Is a movie directed by Andrew Douglas, a movie based on a story, a movie that really sticks to your mind after you have seen it. To me it was one of the best movies I saw during the Santa Barbara International Film festival 2014. It was a thrilling movie and it made it even better that it was based on a true story! The movie is about a sixteen years old boy named Mark (played by Jamie Blackley). Mark is chatting with a girl on the internet who he falls in love with. This is a thriller about the world we are living in today whit the internet as a big part of our lives. But is the internet always a good thing or can it also be a tool that can be very dangerous?

As said above, this is a movie about Mark, a sixteen years old boy in England, London. The year is 2003 and Mark seems to live a normal life with school, family and girls. He does spend a lot of time in front of his computer chatting with a girl. Her name is Rachel (played by Jaime Winstone) and is a few years older than Mark. Mark falls in love with this girl, even thou he cannot see more than her profile picture. Rachel has a little brother, John (played by Toby Regbo) who goes to Marks school. Rachel wants Mark to take care of John since he is being bulling. Mark and John become friends. When Rachel for several days has not been online on the chat and John has not been in school, Mark starts to understand that something is wrong. And right, something is really wrong! Rachel has been killed and the police think that it was a suicide. Mark and John are sure it was not a suicide and starts to looking for the murderer.

The movie is much connected to the world we are living in today. A reality where we are laying our trust on the internet and where many people believe that everything is what it seems to be. But is that really true? It is a movie about love, loneliness, confusion and relations.

The film crew did a great work out of a true story and I think the decision of telling the story form Marks point of view was a brilliant idea. It is a movie that makes you feel and think. It is a movie that makes you react and think of how insane the world can be. As I said in the beginning, this movie is going to stick to your mind after you have seen it.

The actors were good and truthful. The script was brilliant and the editing was well done. You were always alert and that is an important thing for me when I watch movies, you should never have to force yourself to keep on watching it. This movie made me interested in seeing other movies that Andrew Douglas has done, since this was such a good movie.
