Disney has finally returned to their former glory by releasing first Tangled then Brave and now the incredible animation movie Frozen. With a huge success at the Box Office and Two Oscar nominations for the best Animated Feature and Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures the movie has conquered the world.
Frozen is a movie based by Hans Christian Andersen “The Snow Queen” with screenplay written by Jennifer Lee and directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee. The film is about Princess Anna who begin a magical journey with mountain man Kristoffer and his reindeer Sven, to find her sister Snow Queen Elsa. Elsa exiled herself to the hills after her hidden forces appeared during the coronation ceremony, and now have Anna find her in order to save the kingdom Arendelle from a curse of eternal winter.
This film reminded me why I fell in love with Disney in the first place and I love that’s it’s so enjoyably to watch that it doesn’t matter if you’re 4 years old or 50. That’s whats make Disney so great. That they made the movie Scandinavian inspired made me so happy because there was so much you could relate to. It actually made me miss home a little bit. I even got the chance to watch the Swedish dubbed version even If I do love the English language there is some part of me that’s prefer the Swedish version better because that’s the one thing about Disney that I grow up with.
I love how everything comes together with the music and that you easy can sing along with and stucks in you head. I actually found myself sing “Do you want to build a snowman?” in the grocery store and everyone looked at me. About the Snowman and all the other characters, I thought that the movie was all about this beautiful creature and enchanting Elsa because of all the hysterical in media evolves around her. But early in the movie I noticed that the main character was gonna be Anna and I think that’s whats makes this Disney movie different then the others. Olof, my Olof.. he most be the my favorite character of all times. I think they should make a movie just about him. He is so hilarious and cute that I almost died watching the film.
So, good conquers evil even in story and what isn’t more wonderful then that? It take us to another world and let us dream away for a while and that’s what I think movies should be all about.
