Talk with Director and Producer of Violet (Luiso Bardajo, 2013): Spain

The Talk with the Spanish Director and the Producer of Violet was very refreshing. When they talked about Violet or making films in general I could tell that they make movies because it’s their passion and not because of the money. They mostly financed the movie by them self. The film had a very low budget, which is always interesting for film students since this will be how they work at least at the beginning. They told us how they worked with all the permission they had to get for their locations and how they managed to shoot in a very short time.

It was fascinating to hear how they worked together as director and producer because they could tell us about issues they had out of both perspectives.

Interesting was also how different the film Violet is from all the other films the Director Luiso Berdejo is famous for. He was the writer and producer of Rec and Quarantine.
