Almost friends is about two girls who meet online and meets when the schools have a get together. Linor is 11 years old and lives in Tlamim, which is a religious town. Samar is 12 years old and lives in Lod which is a mixed town.

The films about two girls who live quite close to each other but are never to become real friends because of all the disagreements there are between there cultures.

The girls starts talking and there quite nervous because its so unfamiliar and new, they start liking each other, they meet up when there schools get together and they get a long really well. But then when they come home to there families the problems start in there relationships because what the family says has big impact on them.

I believe this is an important film and Im very happy it was made so more people can se that the only thing stopping them is there selfs. Hopefully people who have the same problem will se this movie with another perspective and will be more openminded.
