1. Austin Delve 03.17.09 / 9pm

   I thought that this film was a great animated film. This animated film made me laugh through the entire thing. I think that this film was a great kids movie which is great for even teenagers. Jack black of course was a great character. He was a great comic relief. The movie was a great story line that the panda out of all of the animals and creatures was the chosen one. It had action from the beginning to the end. The action scenes were amazing and kept me very entertained. I would recommend this movie to families of all ages.

   Recently, I came upon this movie title during a Netflix peruse and decided with the trailer and cast it would be interesting to watch. It came in promptly the next day and what I saw was both a funny and charming look at the life of a panda, Po, with a bigger dream of becoming a Kung Fu artist. As most children movies are, I enjoyed watching Po reach his dream and get his chance to show what he is capable of. In a nonliteral sense, I felt the accomplishment of the underdog given extreme circumstances. Unfortunately for Jack Black, I felt he took too much of himself in the character and the script at times did not seem like Po would actually say this but rather Jack Black. This made me unsure of the movie quality, but overall the storyline was great for any moviegoer to experience.

   After realizing there is no age limit for watching an animated movie, I quickly became interested in Jack Black’s portrayal of a panda named Po, on his indulgence in kung fu. This family movie, which includes a simple plot for adolescents to comprehend, but also adult humor, is something you find funnier only as you get older. This film is nothing short of any other animation to be produced in the last decade. The film introduces the major complications to the character’s life and develops toward the end when it concludes with nothing short of a happy ending. The film also reveals to simplicity of an animated story with near immortal characters who also just so happen to be talking animals with kung fu experience. What could be considered a typical animated film was actually turned into an entertaining movie for all, with the selective help of cast members to spice up characters with their own style. Jack Black proved he can be his comedic self even portrayed solely as an overweight, kung fu addict panda named Po.

   It’s always the basic standard of the Dream Factory that the screen goes clear, characters appear exquisite and stories twist and turn touching.What’s the most important is that it shows the world as it is. That is, there is no shortcut or cheat in the world but the only way of winning is to believe in yourself. No more to speak of about the play, it’s really excellent. I think this film has been done very authenticly without any interpretion from the western ones.Not only the stories and the details of the film, but also the processes and pictures, are all following the eastern custom.

   Animation films have defectively broken away from the notion that these movies are only made for children. In film Kung Fo Panda, the message is “that one should follow one’s dream and believe in oneself” and in the these terms becoming the world best Kung Fo fighter. I really enjoyed this animation film and how it offered so much depth for being for a “kids films”. Animation has really opened the door for films that could be very entertaining and yet deliver. depth and education into something. I really enjoyed this film and cant wait for future animated films.

   I absolutely loved this movie. I decided to watch it again for some nostalgia and I don’t regret it one bit. I loved how you said that the movie was filled with crispy bright colors because I completely agree. The animation was fantastic, and the mise-en-scene was designed perfectly.

   The movie Kung Fu Panda left a very deep impression on me. In terms of the picture, I was attracted by this exquisite picture when I first watched it, and different animals as characters were vividly depicted in the movie. No matter what animal they were, their facial features and expression changes were depicted so well that leaving a lot of space for the audience to speculate on the inner changes of the characters. The movie Kung Fu Panda also attaches great importance to the portrayal of culture, such as the use of chopsticks, the appearance of steamed buns, etc. The story and theme of Kung Fu Panda are also very meaningful, depicting a soul who is brave enough to pursue his dreams without fear of difficulties. Among them, there is a classic line that I want to tell everyone who is struggling in life. “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.“——Kung Fu Panda
