This film was made and shot incredibly amazing. This film is written by Deniz Gamze Erguven.

This movie is about five free-spirited girls- this family cares more about what the village has to say. These girls were growing up in a strict upbringing. Learning how to be a wife at a young age. All these girls wanted to do, was go out and be “children”. One of the sisters commits suicide, two other girls get set up marriages hating their lives, and the other two girls get away and move to Istanbul and find a teacher that one of the girls knew.

This movie is very powerful and emotional, because this actually happens in “real” life. Girls just wanting freedom but getting it all taken away because of either religion or family strict upbringings.
