The Treasure by Corneliu Porumboiu was an interesting comedy. I have never experienced a movie with such comedy.

The main character Costi is a very mellow guy, living in a small apartment with his wife and 6 year old son, living paycheck to paycheck, and struggling there and then. He has a neighbor that has financial issues as well. He tells him that he owns this huge house and he believes there is treasure berried. He needs Costi’s help and offered to give him half. With luck they find many shares of Mercedes (Jackpot). Costi decides to take his share, and spend all his money on jewelry, the jewelry he distributed to all of his sons friends (the treasure). I believe this movie can be more than a comedy, it  can be very powerful as well, he decides to spent all his money or “treasure” to make his sons dreams come to true, of finding real treasure.
