“Archy” is a terrific film into the life of a local Southern California surfer. With the difficulties of his parents separating Archy turns to surfing and skating to counter act his emotions while at the same time being more gnarly and getting more air then anyone else in the line up. This is a great documentary, the director incorporates classic 80’s footage from the family’s personal collection taking you into the life of this unique young surfer’s past. While not the average documentary this film has plenty of quality waves to keep you enticed while the narration captures your shared gnarly experiences, driving you down memory lane.
