Deadgirl contains more than one genre. Besides the fact that it’s a horror film, there’s a comedy involved, drama anda love story. It’s about two teenagers Ricky and TJ, who pretty much; do not care about the school or classes whatsoever. One day they decide to go to an abandon mental institution, where they drink, smoke and get totally crazy.

The contrast between the characters are very effective, Ricky is more closed into his own shelve, doesn’t speak as much and is thinking about his childhood crash Joan. TJ is more outgoing and nonsensical, he does whatever he thinks is right and don’t really care about the consequences after his actions. Opposite character of Ricky, which makes the idea of the film even more interesting as they’re best friends and they find a dead girl in a room while they’re being fooling around and they have different opinions on what they should do with the girl.

As the story develops so are the characters, as we see from the beginning of the film them being great friends it changes, they start arguing as they have different opinions about what to do with girl. One the element that makes this film interesting, besides the fact that it has very thought-provoking storyline and twist in it, is that it is also about friendship, about age that makes us think what would we do if we were in their situation.

This film is worth to see as it really has a great idea of representing the teenager boy’s lives, that first time in their life they face something serious and they have to make a right decision and the things they go through while they’re making the decision.
