   In Rosanna Lapinski’s reviews Enrico Casarosa’s La Luna (2011). She characterizes the film’s plot as a boy who discovers the family business. I would argue that this film is a beautiful coming of age story that solely relies on music composition to convey character thought, emotion and narrative plot. In this animation, we are shown a boy with a creative imagination as shown when the child playfully compares grandfathers broom, and his father’s push broom, to each one’s facial hair. We see the boy’s father and grandfather grunt over whose way is better, and when an issue arrives (an extraordinarily large star) the boy comes into his own by solving resolving the issue. There is no dialogue in this film, what we see is implied meaning through the use of music’s complimenting crescendos. This is a sweet film the whole family can enjoy!
