Sleepless night (Frédéric Jardin, 2011): France

This non-stop action thriller from start to beggining writen by Nicolas Saada was directed by Frederic Jardin and starred Tomer sisley, Joey Starr and julien Boisselier.

The movie starts out with a character named Vincent (Tomer Sisley) and his partner who are two cops that decide to do a drug heist from a powerful mob boss and night club owner. The heist does not go as planned and they drug carrier who got away recognized vincets face and the movie takes off from their. From the very opening scene it is non stop action and twist after twist. Every action scene has a reason unlike most action thrillers these days were they just show random shooting scenes that make no sense. All the moves corresponded and led in to another event perfectly. There was no point in the begining of the film that had me bored or worried if this film was going to be good.

As the movie starts to enter the middle of the film, some new twist start turning up such as vincents kid getting kidnapped by the mob bus giving him until the end of the night to return his product or else his son will be killed to his suppose partner carrying more about the coke and the money they can make than his partner and suppose best friend’s sons life. So vincent deciedes to take matter into his new hands, since he can not exactly go to his police buddies after the stunt he pulled.

One cop in his unit gets suspicious which I will let you see for your self since i do not want to ruin the movie. But as you can guess she does nothing but casue problems and make it harder for him to save his son. After hearing that you already know she does not believe him. So now at this point not only he is trying to recive all the product, but he is being chased by cops on his own unit and the mob bosses goons.

This movie is literally non stop action from the very opening scene all the way until the closeing scene. I can not think of one dull scene in this great action thriller. It was complelty different from your typical day thrillers in which they all start, climax and end the same. This movie had originaillty to it and there was a lot of effort in putting this master piece together. If you enjoy Thrillers such as this and want to see a change from your every day thriller I highly recommend you see this film.
