This mind blowing documentary has to be one of the best documentarys I have ever seen. It was Created by Stacey Perallta who is not only one of the original skaters that made skating what it is today, but he is one of the main people who the blockbuster hit Lords of DogTown was made after, along with Tony Alba, Steve Caballero and Shepard Fairey who are also grew up and were influncens on skating and the hit Lords of Dog Town. This amazing documentary also had such skateing stars and legends such as Tony Hawk, and Rodney Mullen just to name a few.

This documentary shows how six teenage boys came together in the 1980’s and reinvted their favoreite sport (skateboarding) as well themselves and their finacial issues. They turned themselves in from just a normal outsider who like to cruise on the board and made it an official big time sport and renvented the world of skateboarding. It also goes on to show how it influnced skaters not only from my parents genration but as well as mine.I also love this documentary becuase they do not feed you any bull shit its all about their struggles, supposrt and influences on one another. I alwasy heard stories from my dad and his friends since a few of them actually skated and hung out on the daily with Stacey, Toney and them. I was extremley glad that some of them were their in person and did q&a’s with the audience. I was great to get to talk and meet them in person, espically since these are skate boarding legends who I hope to be like one day.

The only other thing I can say about this film is it is a must SEE. Espically if you are into skating or you and or your family grew up in the Los angeles area such as Santa Monica and the valley to name a few places.
