Short animation films (Multiple diretors) 2011 USA

This Short animation films review was reviewed by Jake Horstman at the Santa Barbara film festival.

They had a lot of different types of short aniamtions. They had silent ones, animated ones and ones made of clay characters. The first two I enjoyed very much espically Cadavascar. I thought Cadavascar was a great film. Even though it was all rhyming and sad story which is not normally my type of a movie I found it to be very good and the best one out of the shorts I saw, in this particualr viewing. I was very impressed by by the way they organized this film and how the story ended. I was actually extremley impressed by the whole film overall and was stoked to get to meet the director/writer and producer and doing a q&a with them. Im very glad this film is getting bought by a studio and will be in the big screens by hopefully the summer.

The second film was very good to, sorry I forgot the name but it was about a girl and her mom who lost their father/husband. The mom was very depressed the whole film and the girl was doing things to reconnect with her father, by locking herself in the meat freezer. She then was running around with her sheet over her head and jumped in the pond and dreamed she was with her father as she did in the freezer. It was a very touching story espically for those of us who have lost a parent. After this second film though the movies got worse and worse. They literally got worse and worse as they went on. The last mans made no sense and they just showed random images after random images. If you see this short animation film, you should only see the first two espically Cadavascar and would highly recommend to see it in theatres when it is made into a full feature film.
