Viewed at the Metro 4
SBIFF 2013
Disconnect dwells into the lives of people seemingly unrelated in a average city. The use and misuse of media devices gives this film more than entertainment. We see the interaction of several individuals who are draw into conflict that results in the suicide of a young man who was embarrassed by two other students posting a picture of him on face book. We believe we are safe in our homes viewing the world from a protected place. The internet is a powerful tool being abused by individuals who misuse the media .
