Jan bass documentary on the history of the Frisbee was a six year undertaking, he had no idea how long it would take to complete and how much time he would spend flying around the world. The flying disk began with an pilot seeing a flying saucer from his plane in 1947. The UFO fascination was copied by someone at the Frisbee pie company tossing one of there metal pie tins into the air. Disk tossing was off the ground and gaining popularity along with the growing numbers sightings of UFO’S. The new sport of Frisbee has lasted till the present day. Director Jan Bass film has made it clear that you can make a documentary about almost anything you choose.
