Revolution (Rob Stewart, 2012:) Canada

Review by Steve Mccomb  Viewed at the Lobero Theater

Rob Stewart’s film Revolution documents an effort to revolutionize humanity and tackle the issue of saving our environment and those that inhabit it. This film is a movie about changing the world we live in and protecting those we live with. During this film, Stewart shows the viewers the dangers that he has discovered that threatens all of the life in the ocean, threaten our climate and threaten humanity as a whole.

rob_stewart_bioRob embarks on a trip across the world in an attempt to find the secret to saving our ecosystem. He informs us of the ways many people are ignoring the threat that they are causing and the diseases and sicknesses they are causing. This film acts as a call to action for the viewers and uses the beautiful cinematography and photography to capture our attention.

There is a clear goal for this film and that is to reach the hearts of millions of viewers and ask them to help save our planet. The film aims to show the world what is really going on and how we are being affected. Stewart believes in humanity and believes that if people are informed that they will fight for their future and their kid’s futures. This film shows us how we can do our part and aims to be a motivator for creating change. It is a very inspiring film and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about what is going on with our planet.
