Merida (the princess) is about to grow up when everything change, she has to start be the princess that her mum wants her to be, but Merida wants nothing more than to control her own fate, her rage provoked by her mother’s refusal to see the world through her eyes.
Merida whose life is changed by an early birthday gift of a bow, which quickly inspires her to become the best archer in the kingdom. Merida grows up and the queen founds her at the perfect age for marriage. The queen give Merida an opportunity to choose one of three guys from the clan, but Merida does not have any attention to arrange a marriage.
That’s how the puzzle starts to fall apart, Merida is running away from home and meet a witch in the forest who gives Merida a potion that will make the queen Elena see from Meridas perspective. Merida think it is a good thing to give her mum the potion because she wants to live by her own fate, but it is not always what you think it is. The queen got a curse that will make the whole kingdom fall apart. Merida tries to found a way to cure this curse and make everything back to normal.
This Pixlar Disney is a good movie if you like to watch anime (disney) even if you not are a kid anymore. The movie had a good story and it was also kind of odd to see a princess to do things that normally a prince should have done in a Disney movie. I think it was good message that even girls can be a good with a bow, and also that they wants to have there free will to do thing that normally a girl don’t do and be the princess that always has to be saved or has to have a “they lived happily forever with each other”.
