The Arlington theater became packed from floor to balcony as the big screen showed past movies starring Jennifer Lawrence in each scene. The second she and Durling sat down in their chairs, did the audience find her amusing to watch and listen to.

“Its hard to be comfortable and beautiful at the same time in front of all these people,” she said as she took one by one the pillows off of her chair and put them next to her on the floor. The audience of course laughed. With each comment Durling had to say, her face appeared somewhat expressionless, and here too the audience found her funny.

The interview went on for a good 2 hours. Nothing about was boring or sad. Lawrence and Durling kept the crowd entertained and interested with each question and answer. There was even a small point where Lawrence implied that she was nervous, in her words, “when it comes to the stage and being in front of people, I am like chihuahua Jennifer.” Durling said he too was nervous, then decided to cut short and give the audience a scene to watch so he and Lawrence could calm down for a second before going back to questions.

As the interview went on, Durling kept bringing up her age and at how young she is (22) to have already gotten two nominations for best actress. We then went into hearing how she got there, what first became of her.

She told us that an agent first found her, asked her to model. She instead wanted to act, so she kept turning down all of these modeling agencies. Well, her mother could not afford to have an acting agent for her…but she begged and soon landed her first film at 14 yrs old.

She states that she has always been more comfortable with acting in front of the camera, than being on stage being interviewed in front of a dozen people.

So in my experience in seeing Jennifer Lawrence being interviewed was quite amusing. I myself, along side my boyfriend got incredibly lucky with free tickets. I wanted to so badly see her, just see her, but I could not afford to spend $35 on a ticket to hear her talk about her life as an actress and growing up, but I still wanted the chance to see her outside of the theater. If we had not stood outside long enough and next to the certain women long enough, the lady might have found herself offering two free tickets to two other people to her left. It just happened to be luck. “Really?! Are you sure?! Wow, thank you!” I was far more excited than my boyfriend, and did not care that I was having to wait at the back of the line. Still got a good view on the balcony. Seated behind both adults and kids. I sat contently in my seat laughing and smiling as Lawrence gave us a great interview.
