Punk of Africa (Keith Jones, Deon Maas, 2012) South Africa, Czech Republic/Zimbabwe/Mazambique

Just a good little 82 minute documentary on the history of how punk started in Africa.
Not really sure of what to expect, I barely made it to the end of the film. Yes I enjoy watching documentaries, but I guess this film just did not really suite me. I got really bored towards the middle of the film where a lot of interviews would take place, and more voice overs during slideshows of past images occurred.
I would have liked to see more music being played, perhaps more performances of upcoming punk musicians, then I also realized that maybe I don’t really like punk music.
Well, if you like documentaries where stories of past history is told a lot, or, you like punk music, you like africa, and etc, then perhaps you might enjoy watching this film.
Lots of old footage, a lot of interviews with famous punk musicians.
