Diary of the Dead (George A. Romero 2008):USA

Everyone is being advised to stay inside their homes. An outbreak of an unknown virus has hit the United States and has spread at an alarming rate. There have been cases of infection all over the country. Stay indoors until further notice.

If you should encounter an infected stay away. DO NOT approach or try to aid the individual. The infected are hostile are apt to attack, biting or scratching. Stay away from the infected. The infected are said to be pale or green in appearance while their skin appears to be rotting, or eroding away.

If attacked try attempt to control the infected by going for the nervous system. Cause harm to the head area. Decapitate, shoot or strike them in the head. This is the ONLY way to stop them from coming. The dead must be re-killed in a sense.

George A. Romero, movie director and Zombie expert, says that this virus is deadly. If bitten side effects will set in instantly. Side effects are drowsiness, clammy skin, fatigue and hunger. Often flu like in feeling. If bitten death is inevitable. THERE IS NO CURE!

A group of student film makers has documented the events from the first set of infections. The film showcases attacks, killings and infections as they happened.

When infected the dead seem to reanimate. Standing up and moving. Do not trust that the dead will be dead. The infected are sluggish but not slow. They hunger for human flesh and are drawn by the prospect of feeding. These people, these creatures are driven by the instinct to feed.

Again, stay indoors. Do not approach or try to aid an infected individual. They are hostile and deadly. Stay indoors and away from hospitals. We are having to stop publication as we are being told to evacuate the building. STAY INDOORS. There is no cure for this virus. Reports of the virus have now shown up in every corner of the United States and reports are now coming in from Canada and Mexico.

There seems to be no stop to the spread of the virus. Within two days the virus is predicted to reach over seas to
Australia and Europe. The world is in a state of terror and panic as hope is running out that this monster of a virus will ever be stopped.
