Le Chef was a really funny film even though it was in French and had subtitle I was able to still understand it and have a good laugh. This film is about a funny man who’s dream is to be a chef but he could never keep a job. He gets lucky by getting a internship with a famous Chef. The famous chef is having trouble with his boss and his boss is trying to replace him. So famous chef teams up with the finny man to make a new menu for the summer. The director of this film is Daniel Cohen, the actors are Michael Youn as Jacky Bonnot and Jean Reno as Alexandre Lagarde.

The film starts off with Jacky (the funny man) getting fired from his job for trying to be a chef. His wife keeps on getting upset with him because he can’t keep a job and they are planning on having a baby. She tells Jacky she could work but Jacky doesn’t want her to work because the baby. So she tells him he needs to fine another job. He fines a job as a painting buildings while he is painting he helps these chefs make a really unique meal for this retirement home. The older people love what he made and he becomes known in the retirement home. He become really good friends with the chefs in the kitchen. The famous chef Alexandre Lagarde stumbles upon Jacky at the retirement home outside painting. The famous Chef tells him what he heard about his food and he want to give him a internship and if he does well he gets a job.

All the actors in this film were really funny the film it self was different from american comedy but I really liked seeing something different. I really enjoyed watching  these chefs make some good food. In the film they were really creative on the food that was being made. The guy who played Jacky,  Michael Youn it a really funny guy I hope to see more movie with him.

This was really good if you like funny cooking movies this is it. It has good, conflict, and Comedy!
