Fiction Short

The short fiction was a nice alternation between the features. Every short film was very different. There were shorts from three to 26 minutes, different plots and different themes.
The three I liked the most were “A Letter Home” (Markus Walter USA): 2014, “Mr. Polman Wants to Fit In” (Carla Dauden, 2013): USA and “Sinceridad(Sincerity)” (Andrea Casaseca Ferrer, 2014): Spain.
I liked the idea of the story of “A Letter Home”  and the twist at the end. A girl is in college and sends her parents a shocking letter home.
“Mr. Polman Wants to Fit in” is a cute story about an old man who wants to date a woman, like young people do it today. It shows the communications nowadays between young people through the eyes of an older man.
“Sinceridad” is probably the shortest short I’ve ever seen. It explains the unemployment in Spain in a sarcastic  but funny way.
