Reality (Quentin Dupleux, 2014): France

The dream within a dream within a dream times infinity! Reality is a sequence of dreams intertwining, looping and weaving into themselves like a Celtic knot of dreams and reality… This film takes you into an alternate reality where dreams are reality. Quentin Dupleux has taken all the best parts of his past films and wrapped them up in this masterpiece. Reality takes on an almost Slacker like quality where we are following one character until someone else comes into the shot and suddenly we’re following that character through these story knots bringing us back to an intersection we recognize from earlier. This film is now in my personal top five. Flabbergasted!
