The Signal (William Eubank, 2014): USA

The signal is an excellent science fiction thriller movie directed by William Eubank and co-written with Carlyle Eubank, David Figerio and William Eubank.
It all starts with three students who are taking a road trip to California because Haley is going away for a year which really stresses out Haley and Nic´s relationship. Since they are going towards California Nic and Jonah decides to find a hacker who has been messing with them.
They end up at an abandon house in the middle of nowhere and Nic and Jonah decides to go in and look, Haley stays in the car. Mean while they’re in the house they hear Haley screaming outside and runs out to check on her and she´s gone and suddenly Nic is flying in the air and it gets black.
Then Nic wakes up alone in a what seems to be a hospital, in front of him sits Dr. Wallace Damon asking who starts asking him questions. After this the movie is about Nic finding his friend and girlfriend and getting out the hospital his captured in.
I dont like science fiction movies, but this one I really liked. It was clever and was really good written and directed. I would recommend this movie to all people, even those who dont like science fiction movies!
