The documentary “Partner With The Enemy” is about 2 brave women from enemy countries, daring to get into partnership to start a business. One of these inspiring ladies from Israel and the other one from Palestine Which are the two countries politically not playing well with each other.
That being said, the subject of this documentary is brilliant from the beginning. The documentary maker knew this somehow and got quickly organized to make a documentary out of this subject. I like the fact that camera is following all the progress almost from the beginning of partnership, to the struggle they have between each other and with the government things, to building up the company. As audience, we literally live every step with them, even their fights with each other. I like the fact that when ever they have argument, seeing them from a radical perspective. Showing what are they individually talking and thinking with their family was really effective to that radical looking to these lifes. Camera quality and use was poor but mistakenly that helped the viewers have independent point of view to what to look and what to feel. However that also made watching it horrible for someone who understands meaning of camera use. Editing as whole, sculpture was very well done. From getting to know these people who are they, and to what they dialing with, to the canceling their partnership as braking point. Edit shows the over all passing time well.
To conclude, even though, the camera wasn’t high quality, editing slightly save the day but could’ve been better with a better organization with motion graphic department. Seeing this 2 reviving ladies going through a war made this piece is really worth of watching.
