Reviewed by Beata Bergman. Viewed on Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
It’s a sweet story and interesting.
Two girls meet online on Facebook, Samar and Linor. Samar is 12 years old and Linor is 11 years old. Samar is muslim-arab and have a father from Palestinian. She lives in a place called Lod. That place is knowed for crimes and not so religious. Linor on the other hand lives in a religious place called Tlamim. Linor is a jew. Jew’s and Arabs are not usally friends. In the film they say that there is and always has been a “sting” between jew’s and arab’s. “If a Jew sees an Arab dying he’ll help him. If a Arab sees a Jew dying he won’t help him.” Dispte all this, Linor and Samar still try’s to have a friendship.
