Bang Bang Baby

A si-fi musical comedy. wait what. from the trailer, I thought it must be a wired movie, when I went to watch it, indeed a wired movie. It’s a fresh and interesting combination.

Mise-en-scene: very crazy and exaggerative set design and costumes, they use very bold color use mostly blue represent hopes of step want to be a singer. different than the most high-key lighting situation. we see so many contrast lighting to fit the dramatic concept and subject what involve with unloving and suicide subject.

Cinematography: very surrealistic style and dramatic lighting.

Editing: there is fast cuts when the main character marries the guys who she doesn’t love which represents that the unhappiness between their marriage. But overall, there is so many unpredictable editing point in this movie and surprises the audience.

Sound: Jane Levy can sing very well, her performance is outstanding. Although the songs wasn’t as impressive as her singing.
