The little prince is a film for all ages. The motto of this film is to never forget about being a child in this life and even when one grows up they don’t have to follow the same agenda every other adult has in the world. This reenactment of the book which was written back in 1943 by Antonie De Saint is very well done but leaves out many slight details from the original book which is very common with the film adaptations for many books that make their way into the hands of many hollywood industries. The Director for this film adaptation Mark Osborne did a very good job not cutting out the main message the book gave out to many people.

The story of the the little girl(Mackenzie Foy) who has her mother wanting her to grow up quicker and have a head start in the life of an adult, skipping all the joys of what it means to have a childhood. The little girl soon after meets the Aviator(Jeff Bridges) who soon after changes her life by telling her the story of the little prince and how he met him. The story of the little prince and his life on the meteor he lives in, Asteroid 325 goes as such until he meets a rose who changes his life and he fall in love with her but doesn’t know how love. He leaves and travels around different asteroids meeting different people. The king, the cocky man,Greedy man, etc. Then reaches earth and finds the aviator. As the story progresses the little girl soon finds herself having her own version of the little prince traveling through the city in a plane and truly defining what she wants to do with life.

The entire theatre audience loved the film and had their attention the entire time. People were crying, laughing and reflecting on what they’ve done to keep their inner child alive. This film masterpiece had many audience members on the opening night of the film festival leaving with joy and happiness in their hearts. The film would be recommended to all the ages young and old.
