War Against The Weak (Justin Strawhand, 2008): USA
Reviewed by Hrair Panossian. Viewed at the Santa Barbara Film Festival 2009.
Three things I liked about the movie:
1. The in-depth knowledge that I got about the history and the study of Eugenics. Interesting to see that it went on in the US for a long period of time.
2. That Hitler was influenced by Eugenics while gaining power! An American imfluenced Hitler! Imagine That! He cited many of the basic rules of Eugenics during his speeches to the armies.
3. Very good editing. The pauses made it easy to gain all this new information, and think about the things that are said in the movie before stating any new information.
Three things that I didn’t like about the movie:
1. Toooooooooooooooo Looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong.
2. Although it was easier to gain the new information with the pauses in the movie, it was too much information at once.
3. The director, that was sitting behind me, catched me in action staring at my watch for the last 30mins of the movie. Mohahaha!
