A film made for children that makes every human think twice. This is a beatiful animated film from Pete Docter and Ronnie Del Carmen. The think that they truly should get credit for is the writing. To come up with an idea as this demands a high sense of creativity and to make everything look so easy. They explain the brain and how it works through a kids movie. How much better can it get for children?

This film is about a young girl and her childhood and the feelings inside her that develops her mind and the brain. Meet Joy (Amy Poehler), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), Fear (Bill Hader), Disgust (Mindy Kaling and Anger (Lewis Black). These are the main characters in this little girl, Riley (Kaitlyn Dias) mind. It all starts with Joy asking the audience  “Do you ever look at someone and wonder what is going on inside their head?” and after thatr we got to follow Rileys mind, exploring new things. Developing a mind for hockey, friends and family. But the problems starts when Rileys family moves to scary San Fransisco from Minnesota. The habits and all those thngs around her changes, the friends are gone, the family is not the same and even the pizza is weird. And the playstation like controlboard in her mind with Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust and fear as the controllers starts to get lost.

How can Pixar manage to make 95 minutes of film about this? Thats a good question, we get to meet her subconscious, Bing Bong (her long lost fictitous cat-elephant hybrid friend) and so on. All the little parts in our brain that makes our decisions is this a journey to.

After a while of silence from Pizar and nothing special comming out from them for a while, makes this a big statement. A remarkeble movie from the beginning to the end, both you youngsters and adults. Everything from the editing to the music and especially the animation is something for it’s own. One of the best animated movie I’ve seen in many years.
