   La La Land , well I have not seen this film but from this review this is type of film I do not care to see. Sounds like the same old story, Love, Music and Hollywood.

   I like your review of using the letters and also incorporating a poem. It is a simple review yet gives a perfect insight of the film. Loved how he made a cliche story into a great and entertaining film.

   La La Land is a modern day epode to a dying film genre, that classic Hollywood was known for. No better setting than the birthplace of the world-renowned industry that is Hollywood. Filled with quaint little dance numbers and music to match – Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone shine, as the dance of ambition and love of conflicting choices must be made, and eventually one begetting the other. Whimsical daydreaming along with this film, it’s a good backwards in time introduction to classic Hollywood in regards to, the lost genre that once took precedence.

   Best enjoyed with a guy or gal by your side, perhaps with a little hootch and some red vine licorice.
