The Genesis of Holy Camp
Before Director, there was darkness in the Holy Camp.
But Director was soon to begin his creation
For he saw the sound within all that remained.
In the beginning, Director created Holy Camp
A catholic girls camp deep in the forest.
A camp with two rebels-Maria and Susana
Who raged and partied in secrecy.
Then Director commanded, “Let there be Whitney Houston”.
Whitney was not Whitney. But Director believed.
Director was pleased with what he heard.
Evening passed and that was the act 1.
Maria was excited over Whitney’s tunes.
Maria decided it best to pray-head down, back straight, posture up.
Then Director commanded, “Let laughs ring at the thought of Maria’s prayers”.
Director was pleased with what he saw.
Evening passed and that was act 2.
Once mad at Maria, Susana believed and let taboo fall.
Then the Director commanded, “Let Susana enjoy the most of taboo”.
A kiss sealed with lust filled Holy Camp.
Director was pleased with what he saw.
Evening passed and that was act 3
Then Director Commanded. “Wear silver crop tops and butt shorts”,
Maria and Susana danced their butts off.
Whitney was impressed-for the dance sparked the holy ghost within.
Director was pleased with what he saw.
Evening passed and that was the act 4.
For the Director had created it all
A Holy Camp genuinely bizarre, taboo, and holy at all the same time.
For this creation, Director was pleased and so were his subjects (viewers).
Director rested on the final day for he knew it was good.
____
Hilarious, crazy, wacky, laugh out loud fun-not words that would usually describe a catholic girls camp. But this film did that and more-a definite must see. Do not bring a serious tone to this film as it is focused on fun, music, and a different perspective on God and religion. Brilliant!
