1. Josh Velazquez 02.19.19 / 10pm

   I like how you captured the core meaning of the movie about how Miles had to make the best of his new situation and how even him, a nobody could become the hero of the city.
2. Hannah Marshall 03.08.19 / 3pm

   I think this is a great representation of the foundation of the movie. It is what the whole film series is based off of. I like how even in this version of the film you see him as a hero. I do as well. This adaptation of the movie series was exceptionally different because of the film style. Choosing to shoot it as an animation and still manage to have such high quality images must have been a real challenge. It was clearly a hit though. Everything discussed in your review is what everyone loves about spider man. The walking on walls and swinging from building to building.

   I personally love this movie. this movie was one of the only superhero movies to win an oscar along side black panther and the dark knight . the visual affects in this movie were truly amazing. along with these great effect were a great storyline. the story consisted of multiple spiderman trying to find there way back home to there own universe.
4. Robert Stone 10.18.19 / 5pm

   I think there is a lot more to be said about how amazing this move was! Some of the most fascinating things were in the small details made by the animators and the score composer. Both of these fields did incredible things to symbolize Miles growth throughout the film. For example in the beginning of the film, his frame rate is lower than everyone else’s to show how he hasn’t fully developed. And the composer does some insanely clever things with Mile’s leitmotif to represent different aspects of his journey (ex: when recapping his journey/leap of faith, there is an octave jump upwards). The composer also made music stylized to each of the different Spider-people from different dimensions. And the story here was incredibly unique, very good movie.
5. Igor Voronin 10.18.19 / 9pm

   This Spiderman really brought me back to being a little kid and dressing up as spiderman every Halloween. The plot felt more genuine then usual super hero movies, and again, had me feeling like I could get bit by a spider and turn into spiderman. But in terms of the animation it was very unique. (And quite pricey I believe) It was done in comic book style, even lowering the frame rate but yet it flowed so perfect with the plot and really brought the nostalgia. Yes, Spiderman is my favorite superhero!
6. Luke Blevins 04.13.24 / 11pm

   This movie is impeccable, I have never been a huge fan of animated films but this has changed my mind. Miles really uses the idea of Spider-Man to basically come of age. This film is extremely heartwarming and visually pleasing. The way the camera follows Miles almost makes the movie seem video game-like.
