A Night At The Arlington with Brangelina (2008)

On Saturday February 2, 2008 State Street was closed down for the arrival of Brangelina at the SBIFF. Angelina was being honored with the Performance of the Year Award with her Performance of the Year Award for her portrayal of Mariane Pearl, the wife of slain journalist Daniel Pearl, in the film “A Mighty Heart. When arriving camera crews were a galore. State Street was closed down for her arrival and people were all over the place. I was lucky enough to get there right as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were arriving. It was a spectacle to say the least. I have met many celebs and I have never seen screaming fans quite like this. Hundreds of cell phone cameras were flashing and lots of girls were screaming.

Clint Eastwood was the presenter of the award to Angelina Jolie. Clint Eastwood is the Director of the upcoming film the Challenging that Angelina is starring in. Angelina couldn’t stop praising Clint Eastwood and told about how wonderful of a person he is. She is quoted as saying, “He is Nice to Everyone on the Set.”

Overall it was awesome to see Angelina Jolie and Especially cool to see Brad Pitt. But overall the interview was kind of Dry and uninteresting. The questions that we really wanted to know like, “Is she Pregnant?” were never asked. Angelina also didn’t have much to say in the way of responses. She used the word fun a lot and it kind of became a bore. I am definitely glad I got a free ticket because it wouldn’t be worth it to watch this interview if I had to pay the 65 bones.
