Schirripa-CohenWEB-705457The Emmy award winner Michael Impertoli (The Sopranos) takes the stage in directing his new film the Hungry Ghosts.  This film is a new side project for him aside from his acting career.  This is a guy who just a little bit about everything.  With his own script and a director to boot.  Impertoli, through camera actions and annoying characters, reveals that The Hungry Ghosts is a drama that doesn’t really tick.

Frank is a loud mouthed, drug addicted, failure of a father to his son Matthew.  Who when he gets a chance to see him he either is late or doesn’t show up at all.

Nadia is a girl helping the elderly pass on and die.  While Gus on the other hand is just a man seeking the true answer beyond everything that he has been taught.

The audience is bounced back and forth in this film from one characters actions to another.  And from there it is up to the audience to figure out what the story is.  Other than that there really is no story and very little of a plot in this film.  Despite the   good acting everything else needs work.
